About Tallaght
Tallaght is one of the larger areas we cover, built out mostly through newer estate development.
The Landmark
The Square, one of Ireland’s biggest shopping centres, opened in 1990 and anchors the area, with Tymon Park running along much of its western side.
Housing Stock
Estate developments from the 1970s onward mean smaller, more uniform plots than Rathfarnham or Terenure, laid out with a basic lawn and fence rather than any real design.
Groundwork
Drainage, fencing posts and patio bases were often built to a minimum standard on older estates, something we regularly find when called out to fix what’s failing.
Area Considerations
